Hello! Welcome to my blog! I'm pretty excited to have a place to post info about my sewing classes, and show some projects I've been working on! Hopefully you will find something you would like to work on, and I can help you develop your sewing skills. I will post my class options below, just be patient with me as I may need to tweak a few things as I go along. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask, it will be a fun journey!

At this point I am open to teaching
-ongoing weekly classes,
-one time weekday classes,or
-all day Saturday classes,
which will be determined by the amount of interest for each topic.

I will set day(s) and time(s) when there are at least 3 registered for a specific class, you can confirm your spot after you see the dates.

(the mobile mini classes need a minimum of 4 people, see below)

Since the holidays are fast approaching, we will calendar classes so that a 4-5 week series can be finished by early November.

Each person will be expected to bring their own sewing machine and supplies, and a fabric/notions supply list will be given before each class begins.

I realize that everyone’s time is valuable and limited, so if there’s enough interest I can offer a ‘Crash Course’ on a Saturday. We could sew all day long, 6-8hrs, and cover the same info and projects described in the Sewing Basics 1 and 2 classes. (specify at registration if you would like this option) I would need a minimum of 4 students per class for the 'crash course', but it would be really fun! Bring a friend!! (All dates TBA )

The ‘one- time’ classes are 2 hours each, enough time to present info, answer your questions and help you with your choice of project. Dates are flexible for mini-(2 hr) classes, pick a night or morning, and I will see what works. Classes can hold 3-6. Bring a friend!

I plan to teach at my home, where all my supplies are available, but if you would like to organize a mobile-mini-class at your home, (min. 4 people including yourself) I will come to you. Based on date availability, $15 per person, for a 2 hr. class. Pick 2 projects from the class list to learn/work on and I will create a list of supplies needed for your customized class.

If you would like to sign up for any of these class options, please go to my registration page now.

Registration Page

Go ahead and spread the word to friends and family, the more the merrier! I will not schedule classes in late November or December, but will resume in January when it should be easier to plan the 4 and 5 weekly classes.

Also, If anyone would like an ongoing weekly class of just baby items, just clothing, just home décor, or just open sewing, etc., please let me know and I could plan that for spring. The advantages of an ongoing class would be to consistently practice skills and progress from easier to more difficult projects. Besides being a lot of fun!

Whew!! That’s a lot of info, thank you for reading this all the way through! Head over to my registration page, and I hope to see you soon!

Julie
