Just finished Sewing Basics 1

I had a great time teaching the Sewing Basics 1 class! With 2 students and 3 projects we did a lot of sewing!! The items we completed were a pillowcase, pajama pants, and an apron, and they all turned out great! This class is for beginners, (very little to no sewing experience) and by the time we were done, Kelly & Elizabeth were cruising along and planning their next projects! I had so much fun and learned a lot, and I am looking forward to the next session around mid-January. Check back here, I'll be offering a few short classes to brighten up the winter months! Pillows, baby bibs & burps, and children's spring skirts! Easy and fun!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Well, I'm very happy that Halloween is over!! Ha Ha, Next time I get the bright idea to sew costumes for my kids, I will allow more than 2 months to get them done. For some reason life kept getting in the way of all my good intentions and I was finishing up Nicole's dress on Halloween. But at least it was done before the trick or treaters came and she and Matt looked fabulous! I had a great time 'designing' the costumes although we still need to finish up some black elf shoes for 'Buddy'. We'll get them done soon so the two of them can go hang out at the mall around Christmas time.
